Nine years, one operating principle
Ship software that survives contact with real users — starting in native Android, expanding across iOS, Flutter, and Kotlin Multiplatform, and now full-stack systems end to end.
Engineering Philosophy
My background started with deep native Android development — Java and Kotlin, UI components, and REST integrations built the instinct for what makes an app feel solid rather than merely functional. That foundation expanded into native iOS with Swift and SwiftUI, then into modern multiplatform solutions — Flutter and Kotlin Multiplatform Compose for web and mobile — and finally into the full-stack API work that ties mobile systems to the backends they depend on.
Across all of it, the constant has been the same: take a complex, high-traffic mobile system, find the bottleneck or bug that's actually causing pain, and rebuild the architecture underneath it so the fix holds. That means code maintainability as a default, not an afterthought — layered architecture, clear ownership boundaries, and interfaces that don't leak implementation details.
It also means test-driven development where it earns its keep, and cross-platform efficiency without compromising native performance — sharing logic through KMP or Flutter where it genuinely reduces duplication, while keeping the platform-specific layer native enough that users never feel the difference. More recently, that's extended to agentic AI-driven workflows: using modern AI tooling to accelerate delivery, without lowering the bar on review rigor or architectural discipline.
The 9-year path
From core Android fundamentals to leading multiplatform systems end to end.
Native Android Developer
Built the foundation — Core Java and Kotlin, hand-rolled UI components, and REST API integrations for early-stage consumer apps.
Senior Mobile Engineer
Expanded into native iOS development with Swift, while owning CI/CD automation and advanced state management across a growing Android codebase.
Cross-Platform Specialist
Led high-scale Flutter builds, wrote custom native plugins to bridge platform gaps, and focused heavily on performance optimization under real production load.
Multiplatform & Systems Lead
Introduced Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP/CMP) for shared mobile and web logic, designed complex API architectures, and led bug triage and heavy refactoring efforts.
Lead / Staff Mobile & Multiplatform Engineer
Now driving agentic AI-assisted workflows, full-stack system design, and end-to-end delivery — from architecture decisions to production rollout.
Where the depth actually is
Weighted by where the hands-on hours have gone — mobile native and multiplatform first, with full-stack and tooling depth close behind.
